Airtek BMS controls over 8000 points

The building accommodates 720 student apartments, each floor includes communal kitchens and lounge areas.

Ground and Level 1 contain communal study areas, cinema and gym with a basement car park.

Simplicity is the Key

Whilst the BMS system uses cutting edge controls, the simplicity of the BMS design is the key feature. All FCU air conditioners are "Stand Alone" but monitored by a touch screen in the manager's office.

There is no onsite computer or software. There is no "Head End" device.

Energy Management strategies implemented include apartment time scheduling and control, variable chilled water temperature set back routines.

Student apartments were fitted out with Airtek's latest sleek attractive touch panel giving the guest full control of their apartment.

Manager's Touch Screen

 

The 15" Touch screen was fitted on the Manager's Office wall allowing management to view and control each individual apartement and oversee main plant conditions.

Car Park Ventilation

The Car Park Ventilation is controlled by Airtek's touch screen ventilation controller (CPES-2) complying with ASA1668 standards including scheduled purge times.
